Back in 2000, I was a very early adopter of Salesforce, so we have a long history with the platform. Throughout the years, I helped numerous clients implement it as their primary CRM. However, in recent years, I became increasingly frustrated with Salesforce due to its rising costs and shifting focus towards enterprise-level clients instead of small and medium sized businesses. Enter Hubspot.
My first encounter with Hubspot
In 2021, my son joined my firm and introduced me to HubSpot as an alternative to Salesforce. Initially, I was reluctant to make the switch, given my deep-seated familiarity with Salesforce and its product offerings. However, after giving HubSpot a try, I must say that it turned out to be a fantastic decision.
HubSpot offered us a lower cost solution- even its free version provides powerful features and benefits that we couldn’t find in Salesforce. Its seamless integration with email, robust reporting capabilities, intuitive templates, and easy automations and workflows were game-changers for our team. Most importantly, our team found HubSpot much easier to use than Salesforce, which led to increased productivity and efficiency.
What was the result?
As a result of our positive experience, we began recommending HubSpot to our smaller-sized clients, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. They too found it to be a user-friendly and cost-effective solution for their CRM needs.
Recently, because of our satisfaction, we made the decision to become Hubspot partners.
In Conclusion
I decided to write this blog and share my experience with you because I believe it is important for small and medium size businesses to know that Salesforce is not the only CRM option. While Salesforce undoubtedly has its merits, HubSpot offers a compelling alternative, especially for smaller firms like our’s. If you’re open to exploring new CRM options, I would be more than happy to share further insights and assist you in evaluating whether HubSpot could be the right fit for your firm.
Thank you for considering our experience, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss further.
